Downtown Springfield: Seeking Volunteers for Taste of Downtown

Volunteer Coordinator:

I am serving as Volunteer Coordinator the 2011 Taste of Downtown celebration.  This year’s Taste of Downtown celebration will be on July 8-9, 2011.  “Taste” will run from 5:00 PM to Midnight on Friday, July 8, and from Noon to Midnight on Saturday, July 9.  Please save the date!!

 I am looking for volunteers to help out this year, so if you are willing and available, please let me know.  You can either email me at my office email address Diane.Covington@ieanea.org  or my home email dcov855@att.net.

Please respond with your:

1)     full name,

2)    mailing address,

3)    phone number,

4)    desired volunteer duty,

5)    hours you are available to volunteer (a minimum of 2 hours, please) and

6)    t-shirt size.

The Springfield Roleplayers

Springfield Roleplayers will have our November meetup at Mecca Games in Springfield.  We play all manner of roleplaying games – Dungeons & Dragons, Vampire, and other such games.  The meetup will have at least two games going on, plus its a great way to meet gamers in the area.

Membership and attendance is free.  New players are more than welcome.  Whether you’ve been gaming for years and want to meet new people, or might be interested in a new hobby, this is the place for you.  The games for November are yet to be determined.  If you want to come, sign up on the site and vote!
